Reservoir Gods

Maggie #24
This features a really neat intro from New Beat devlopment which is really well designed. The first installment of the totally recoded Maggie Shell is on show here, as it Ripley's awesome title picture. The mouse pointer on the text displayer wasn't coded in time for the magazine's release - something that would later cause a lot of controversy! The Orneta 97 party results are revealed with the Confusions' "Amok" demo and DHS's "4ever" taking the top prizes. The Maggie team go on-line, but not without the usual atari/internet related teething problems! sh3 reports on some useful German CD-ROM writing software and there is also a review of the Supra Modem. Which is nice. There is a report on the Hades and its compatibility problems. CIH gets to grips with the latest version of seminal Falcon music proggy, Graoumf Tracker. If you're feeling brave you can follow our DIY nemesis installation instructions - complete with Ascii-art diagrams of the motherboard! We also tell you how to fix your broken old Philips CM8833 monitors. Our Dead Celebrity is 'Princess Di' and we feel that people have gone a little OTT on the dim eyelash flutterer. Evil of DHS is interviewed and reveals he doesn't like Jazz ("esp. not with trumpets").
