Maggie #4
An advert intro by Sync for their forthcoming tracker Audio Sculpture begins this issue.
The NeXT charts are presented in the form of omni-directionally scrolling little game.
You guide a spaceship over a playfield to find the various charts. Cute.
Spaz and Tanis/TCB combine for the christmas themed medium res menu picture.
Maggie goes into collaboration with 'Disk Magazin' and the fruits of the labour are
an enhanced shell - a definite improvement over the earlier issues, but still far from
the finished thing (and light years from the slick shells produced by Delta Force and RG
for later isssues).
This issue sees the writing debut of MrPink, with the tale of An Cool and Flossy The Sheep
being one of the more memorable contributions.
Andy the Arfling reveals the dark secrets behind being a hacker.
Lap supplies some more tunes to keep the ears happy whilst the eyes feast on the text.
There is a review of Jochen Hippel's "Give It A Try" CD, and Sammy Joe recommends you
should follow the advice of the title.
The "Best Piccy" is a screenshot of a very promising looking shoot-em-up that Omega
were coding. Red from the group gives a tutorial on making graphics, warning that most
people are lamers. Wise words.
In the tutorials you can find more GFA commands typed straight out of the manual by
Sammy Joe. Useful for people with hacked copies of this software!
The European demos is the big demo of issue; massive in all senses of the word.
